 Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Its height is 828 meters(2716 feet), with a total of 163 floors.

The Construction Burj Khalifa started in 2004 and was completed in 2009, taking a total of 5 years to build. The height of the building was kept secret during construction period, and it was only announced upon completion. The building was designed by Adrian Smith, an American architect, and it was built by a South Korean company named samsung C&T.

The height of the Burj Khlifa was achieved using a combination of innovative engineering techniques and technologies . The bulding features a Y-shaped floor plan, which was designed to optimize the use of space and provide stability to the structure. The exterior of building is covered to a relectiove glass panels and aluminium cladding, which not only enhances the aesthetic of  building but also provide a protection against hard desert environment. 

The main structure of building is made up of reinforced cement concrete, which the spire at the top is made up of steel. The spire is about is 200 meters tall, and it was added to the building during construction to increase it's height. The spires serves as a lighting rod and also  support the communication equipment for the building. 

Burj Khalifa has set several records for being the tallest building in the world. Including the tallest free- standing building and the highest occupied floor in a building. It is also a home ot the highest observation deck in the world, located on the 148th floor at a height of 555 meters (1821 feet).
